I'm sorry... I got as far as "lemonade" and bailed. I really tried, though. I'm surprised I lasted that long... considering how much I don't enjoy musicals. lol

I'm glad to hear that I wasn't the only one who'd not heard anything regarding the free accounts being "no more." (and I had two accounts, one personal and one through work--both so small that I just never considered switching to paid, but still might have if I didn't feel so *slapped* by the attitude in their blog posts & forums since logging on yesterday to find my free account GONE & doing a bit of an *eep*!!)
I was just feeling stupid wondering how I missed some notification that important (as I do NOT have copies of some pics that I uploaded during a hard drive crash & just hadn't gotten around to backing up from zoto yet but certainly would have, had I known my free account would be let go soon!) on not one but TWO different email accounts...
I *loved* the zoto site. I may have considered switching to the paid service. I sent everyone who asked me what I thought was the best photo sharing/storage option to their site...
...unfortunately, the attitude & level of snarkiness towards the "bandwidth sucking freebie accounts" leaves such a bad taste in my mouth, that I most certainly know I won't ever visit their site again.

Sure, go for it! And if you use my link I'll be that much closer to really being an internet millionaire ;) On a side note, I'm further in the book and it's actually pretty good for thought provoking when you're starting out. It advises you to buy a notebook to answer questions it asks as you read along and I think that advise is actually worth following, or at least making notes.

Hey, congratulations on being profiled in a real book! I actually think Internet Riches sounds like a pretty interesting read, so I might just purchase a copy for myself.

Thanks for the tips!

I've often used the CTRL + Enter feature and have sometimes used the CTRL + SHIFT + Enter one, just not as many sites out there that don't also own the .com version of their domain.

A lot of people know that in IE, if they type in google, then hold CTRL and hit Enter, it automatically puts www. and .com around it for you.

In Firefox, it also works, but you can also hold SHIFT and Enter to automatically use .net instead of .com. CTRL+SHIFT and Enter will result in .org.

So:
google -> CTRL +Enter -> www.google.com
slashdot -> CTRL+SHIFT+Enter -> www.slashdot.org

Hello, thanks for the compliment, you've got some great pictures yourself on your site and great information.

Manuka wasn't my bird by any means, I was just lucky to have helped out for a short while :) My friend is the falconer and I get to tag along sometimes. One day maybe I'll have my own bird, I've seen some harris hawks in action and they seem like great birds.
