Back from Yosemite
When my sister proposed going to Yosemite for three days I thought it was too short a time considering how far a drive it is but it was her trip and I was willing to go along with it just to get out there. It turned out we did quite a bit on the trip and had a lot of fun.
We left early enough Wednesday so that we were able to arrive in time to rent bikes and ride around. Thursday we hiked half dome (I had planned to climb it again but my climbing partner’s knee was not cooperative). It was good to just hike it again though to refresh my memory of it and I did get to have a little fun on the cable route. The view from the top of Half Dome is, of course well worth it however you get up there.
Life lesson learned? Go ahead and take those trips that don’t always “make sense”.
